– Step-by-Step Guide

Stage 1: Sponsorship (Australian Host Organisation)

The Australian organization must become an approved Temporary Activities Sponsor.

Steps:

1. Register online in ImmiAccount under “Temporary Activities Sponsor.”
2. Provide details of the business, its legal registration, and its capacity to host training.
3. Agree to sponsorship obligations (e.g., no charging fees from trainees for migration costs).

Stage 2: Nomination (Training Program Nomination)

The sponsor must nominate the trainee and provide details of the training program.

Steps:

Lodge nomination through ImmiAccount (after sponsorship approval).

1. Select the correct training type:
   • Training required for registration/licensing,
   • Training to enhance skills in an eligible occupation, or
   • Capacity building overseas (for overseas employers/government support).
2. Attach a structured training plan with objectives, supervision, and assessment.

• Training Plan (objectives, weekly schedule—minimum 30 hours/week, assessment method, supervision details).
• Role/position description (must show training, not ordinary employment).

1. Create an ImmiAccount and start a subclass 407 visa application.

4. Complete health examinations when the HAP ID is issued.
